If Everyone Looked The Same” by Lori Nebo is a vibrant and engaging children’s book that promotes inclusivity and diversity. Available in both English and Spanish, it features colorful illustrations and valuable classroom resources such as activities, comprehension questions, and a lesson plan template that help educators spark discussions about empathy and acceptance. More than just a story, it serves as an effective educational tool for fostering understanding and inclusivity among students.
This is a great children's book that I feel would be the perfect story to get more children into reading. Without being too long or complicated, If Everyone Looked The Same achieves the difficult task of being impactful and engaging while keeping it brief thanks to the stellar pacing. The activities at the back are a great touch, too. I highly recommend this!
